As a parent of a child with different abilities, the success of the first annual golf
tournament to support 4STEP is overwhelming! Wow! What a huge impact you have had on this tournament's outcome.
After learning of horse riding therapy, my
initial thought was to sign up my daughter, Erin, for lessons. She deserves something fun. I had no idea of the
true therapeutic workout she would be receiving; yet she doesn't have a clue that she is hard at it. When we return
home after our Tuesday night session, she wants to know if we can go back tomorrow so she can ride again.
Erin's friends talk of ballet lessons
and cheerleading; yet Erin is the only one of her friends who gets to tell of jogging with "Pidge," or riding "Swoozie,"
or performing her hand-eye coordinating tricks with "Brody Boy," during her lessons.
There is a true and genuine atmosphere of love and
commitment towards these amazing children at 4STEP. As Erin's mother, I picked up on this positive energy immediately.
In addition to the fabulous staff, God is so very much a presence at 4STEP.
