Like an “Appy Herd”, each
horse has distinct and unique spots that make them stand out, yet they work together as a well functioning team. Like the
“Appy Herd” your team or group will be given the opportunity to identify each other’s differences, strengths
and weakness and take these differences and use them to the benefit of the team or group.
Although Appy Herds is listed under the Equine-Assisted
Mental Health Programs, this program is truly classified as Equine-Assisted Learning. This is because a team or group
will learn about themselves, as stated above, and be able to leave with a new understanding, and possibly new skills.
This program is designed to bring cohesiveness and provoke thoughtful insight about the group as a whole.
This program is to be utilized by groups who are seeking after a similar goal,
which may include, but not limited to: spiritual growth and understanding, addictions, grief and loss, marital issues, starting
a new business, brainstorming, seeking solutions, cohesiveness, understanding strength and weaknesses, and more.....
